SARVA KARMA SU TSA ME = As well as all the Activities.

HUM = Is the heart essence seed syllable.

HA HA HA HA = symbolizes the four Boundless, four Empowerments, four Joys, and the four kayas.

HO = Is the sound of joyous laughter in them.

BHA GA WAN SARVA TA THA GA TA = Bhagawan, All the tathagatas.

VAJRA MA ME MUNTSA = Vajrasttva don’t abandon me.

VAJRI BHA WA = I pray that I may become a Vajra holder.

MA HA SA MA YA SATTVA = Great Samaya Sattva.

AH Signifies uniting in non-duality.

What’s stopping you from doing retreat:

• Relationship?
• Work?
• Cash?
• Other commitments?

I really want to know. I have family and work commitments. But would love to sponsor retreats. Is there anyone else who feels the same?

Marpa and Milerapa- two famous Tibetan Buddhists from the 11th century.  I just did a reading on these two for my Buddhism class and I LOVE Marpa!  According to the text I read, he was this drunken, erratic maniac (kinda like the Abe Simpson of Tibet, but psychotic and with special powers) who eventually lightened up and led Milarepa to enlightenment :D

Milarepa was pretty boss too. Massive balls.

Dear Lisa, 

Thank you for your letter. In this life, more than study or service for others, it is better for you to do retreat and meditation. You can do other things, but the most beneficial is retreat and meditation. Osel Ling and Kopan come out best, also the retreat place at Nalanda Monastery. You can try there.
